I joined Grand Forks Subaru in October 2023 after working in the financial services industry for 31 years – all at Alerus Financial in Grand Forks. After growing up in Fosston, MN, I moved to Grand Forks, ND and graduated from the University of North Dakota. Working at Grand Forks Subaru has been a terrific experience. My favorite part of the business is watching our customers purchase and have their vehicles serviced with us as I believe our employees are the best! When I’m not working, you’ll find me on the golf course or in the winter time riding snowmobile. I enjoy spending time with my two grown children.
Stacy Lies is the General Manager of Grand Forks Subaru. A native of Fargo ND, he graduated from Fargo South High School. After High School he attended Northland College in Thief River Falls MN. He went on to earn his degree in Therapeutic Recreation from NDSU. During his college years, he proudly served in the ND Air National Guard. A former varsity hockey player at both the high school and collegiate levels, Stacy began his automotive career in1995 at Muscatell Automotive, where he played a key role in establishing the Subaru dealership in 1997. In January 2025, he brought his extensive experience to Grand Forks Subaru. He has been married to his wife, Catherine (Coyle) of Walhalla ND, for 29 years, and they have two sons, Max and Trey. The family also enjoys the company of their beloved Pitbull, Maya.
I joined the Grand Forks Subaru family in 2019. I was born in Anchorage, Alaska at Elmendorf Air Force Base. I grew up in Detroit Lakes, MN and graduated in 2011. I then moved to Fargo, ND where I started selling cars in November 2012. One thing that keeps me motivated and excited about selling cars everyday is the great customers I’ve had over the years. The best part is helping people make the car buying process easy, enjoyable, but also fun! My wife, Leah, and I got married in 2022. We had our first child, Bennett, in 2023. Currently we have an Outback and an Ascent. We both love our Subarus and many of our friends and family are part of the Subaru family as well. When I’m not working I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. In the summer, we spend time at the lake, and I try to golf as much as possible. In the winter, I love to snowmobile the great trails we have around North Dakota and Minnesota. I also enjoy watching the Minnesota Vikings and UND Fighting Sioux hockey.

Hello, car enthusiasts of the world! I see you've stumbled across my bio. I started out in the car business two years ago and have fallen in love with the business and the people. I was born and raised in the great city of Grand Forks, ND where I went to Red River High School as well as the University of North Dakota. I did take a brief four-year hiatus to the suburbs of Minneapolis, from Hanover all the way to Brooklyn Park, before moving back and finding a home in Grand Forks. I have two Subarus in my household currently and more to come. For fun I like to go to Ironworks gym as well and take weekend trips down to Maple Lake to spend time with my family. I have two children at home, my feline son Otis as well as my spunky dog daughter Willa, who love attention and are constantly up to no good.
While Grand Forks is not where I was born and raised, it's where I call home! Growing up in a military household and relocating frequently, the "stops" may have been brief but I'm extremely grateful for the life experiences each location provided. I graduated from Central High School in 2008 and upon completion of my military service I entered the automotive service & parts industry. It's been a challenging, yet very rewarding journey. Here at Grand Forks Subaru, I'm proud to be on a team that cares about culture building and believes in giving back to our local community. As a further testament to my faith in the brand, I am an owner of a Subaru Outback Wilderness and a Subaru Forester Wilderness. Living in a location with such harsh climate conditions, I've been thoroughly impressed with the capabilities of these vehicles. Aside from my work life, some of my favorite hobbies include lifting weights, evening cruises in my Corvette and Vikings football. SKOL!
I am a North Dakota native hailing from Minto, ND. I have called Grand Forks home for many years. My resume? Let’s just say I am a jack-of-all-trades (master of none…yet). From sales and insurance to agriculture and telecommunications, I've finally landed at Grand Forks Subaru, where I am putting my diverse experience to good use helping customers find the perfect vehicle. When I'm not at the dealership, I enjoy spending time with my wife, Jamie, who works at UND's EERC, and our three children. We can often be found at the lake (where I'm usually trying not to fall off the dock), tending to a garden that includes an impressive array of hot peppers and carnivorous plants, or adventuring in our dependable Subaru Outback.
I started in the car industry in 1989. I worked for Ford and Chrysler before coming to Grand Forks Subaru in 2008. I have lived in Grand Forks, ND most of my life and graduated from Red River High School. My two youngest kids went to school in Thompson, ND. One graduated and the other is currently a Junior. Currently I have two Subaru Foresters and have had many more in the past. I enjoy running and hockey. I completed my 3rd full marathon in June 2014. I also enjoy ice fishing Devils Lake, ND and hunting in Western North Dakota.

I have been in sales for most of my career which is 38 years and have been at Grand Forks Subaru since we opened the doors in 2006. I love it here! I was born in Moorhead, MN and raised in Grand Forks, ND. I spent a lot of summers in the Denver, CO area growing up and I’m a huge Denver Broncos fan. I am an experienced car salesman with a proven track record of success. Grand Forks Subaru is a great place to work and a great place to purchase a vehicle. I am passionate about working with my existing customers as well as new customers. As a USMC Veteran, I enjoy working with active duty personnel as well as other veterans and retirees. In my free time I spend time with friends and family. Summer is my jam! I love going to the lake in the Fosston, MN area and spending many hours on my Harley.
I was born and raised in Roseau, MN. I moved to the area in 2014 and loved it so much that I decided this was my new home. I have a wonderful husband, Andrew, and together we have four kids, two pups and one cat. To say we stay busy is an understatement! We like to pile in the car and drive up north to Drayton on the weekends. There you will catch us at the family farm spending time outside on the deck, grilling, playing bags and dunking each other in the pool. While I have professional experience in a few different fields, they all revolve around the same concept; making sure people are taken care of. I have over 14 years of customer service background and I love working with people. My goal as your Sales Consultant at Grand Forks Subaru is to make sure you have the best possible experience throughout the entire car buying process!
I have been with Grand Forks Subaru since 2013 and in the car business for over 24 years! I was born in Valley City, ND and have been a North Dakota resident my whole life living in Cooperstown, St. Thomas and Manvel. Currently I drive a Subaru Legacy Limited XT. I am very active in the community and enjoy University Of North Dakota Fighting Sioux sporting events. I have been a season ticket holder for UND’s Men’s Hockey team since the 2001-2002 season. I haven't missed a game since and I don’t plan to anytime soon.
Hi! My name is Justin, I was born in Rochester, MN and moved to Grand Forks when I was 7 years old when just my mom and I made the trek up to the frozen tundra! Grand forks has been home to me for 22 years. I have 3 sisters and I’m the “old” big brother as my sisters say. I graduated from Red River High School. I have been a Service Advisor for 6 years. Out of those 6 years I have been with Grand Forks Subaru for 4 of those years! (Time flies when you’re having fun!) Previous to working here at Grand Forks Subaru, I was at Eide Hyundai up until they closed in 2021. I look at it as a blessing in disguise as I found Grand Forks Subaru! I enjoy my time here and the environment. I try my best to turn a stressful situation into a positive situation! During my free time, I enjoy spending time with friends, family and my dog Ash!

I've been a car guy my entire life and I've held positions in all departments throughout the automotive space. I truly enjoy the challenge of using my knowledge and skills to help people.
